The "Little Kiwi Explorer" series is for all of you with itchy feet, curious minds, and passionate hearts. It depicts the magic of childhood, imagination, and wonder. When anything feels possible, and dreams may come true any minute.
It also embraces companionship; every journey is more fun when you have someone special in life to share it with.
It’s for anyone who finds peace in nature. For those who feel more like themselves surrounded by the trees, the sea, and the mountains, for those who feel connected to animals and can see souls in their eyes.
I paint my little explorers small on purpose, in symbiosis with nature, living in harmony, part of it, not superior.
I know that this series is about more than just cute little adventures.
It’s also about navigating life, figuring things out, finding your way through rocky roads or climbing mountains, and sometimes choosing a path that’s not the same as everyone else’s. It’s about trusting and embracing the unknown, and even when you may end up bruised and scarred, you'll eventually discover your voice and shine in your true colours.
If you're a little bit like me, somewhere along the way, with the weight of responsibilities and worries of adulthood, it’s easy to forget that spontaneous, playful, and free part of yourself and your dreams. Routines sneak in, and sure, they make life run smoother, but they can also lull that free-spirited rebel to sleep. I know it's still there and remains within you, too. Let's wake up that wonder-filled, joyful beast sometimes :-).
