My name is Darina Denali, and I am an artist living in Russell / Kororāreka, Aotearoa New Zealand. Surrounded by ocean and native bush, I draw inspiration from this rich ecosystem and from the everyday adventures I share with my two children.
I am currently working on the "Explorers" series, which reflects on human connection, our sense of belonging, and our deep bond with the natural world, which we are part of. The artwork honours the wonder and adventurous spirit of childhood that continues to live within us.
